Novelist Bryan Charles is next in Frostic Series

KALAMAZOO--Emerging novelist Bryan Charles will read from "Grab On to Me Tightly as if I Knew the Way," as part of the Gwen Frostic Reading Series at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, in the Little Theatre at Western Michigan University. All readings in the series are open to the public free of charge.

Charles's work has appeared in Open City and in the anthology "Before and After: Stories From New York." "Grab On to Me" is his first novel and was published by Harper Perennial in 2006.

Charles is a Michigan native and WMU graduate who lives in Brooklyn, N.Y.

All readings are Wednesdays at 8 p.m. in the Little Theatre, which is located at the corner of Oakland Drive and Oliver Street on Western Michigan University's East Campus. There is free off-street parking behind the theatre.
