WMU Home > About WMU > WMU News Novelist Bryan Charles is next in Frostic SeriesFeb. 21, 2007 KALAMAZOO--Emerging novelist Bryan Charles will read from "Grab On to Me Tightly as if I Knew the Way," as part of the Gwen Frostic Reading Series at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, in the Little Theatre at Western Michigan University. All readings in the series are open to the public free of charge. Charles's work has appeared in Open City and in the anthology "Before and After: Stories From New York." "Grab On to Me" is his first novel and was published by Harper Perennial in 2006. Charles is a Michigan native and WMU graduate who lives in Brooklyn, N.Y. There is free off-street parking behind the theatre.
