One Stop Convenience offered in Bernhard

KALAMAZOO--A temporary One Stop Convenience Center opens Tuesday, Aug. 29, in Western Michigan University's Bernhard Center, offering a smorgasbord of business services in one, convenient location.
Located on the center's second floor, it will let students and their parents take care of last-minute business associated with starting the new academic year. It will be open for four days both before and after Labor Day weekend, starting Tuesday, Aug. 29 and continuing through Friday, Sept. 8. It will be closed Labor Day weekend, Saturday through Monday, Sept. 2-4.
Those visiting the One Stop Convenience Center will be able to get new Bronco ID cards, pay bills, purchase campus parking permits, arrange for campus housing and sign up for a WMU meal plan. They also may obtain information about a variety of topics, including financial aid, employment opportunities, and immunizations and other campus health care services. The convenience center is being staffed by representatives from 12 offices, including admissions; registrar; information technology; student financial aid and scholarships; Career and Student Employment Services; cashiering; customer account services; parking services; residence hall life; Sindecuse Health Center; dining services; and payroll.
Financial aid advisors will be available at One Stop and will not be available in the financial aid office while the One Stop Convenience Center is open.
