New menu items showcased at employee luncheon

KALAMAZOO--WMU Catering invites university employees and their guests to a special Administrative Professionals Day luncheon Wednesday, April 26, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Bernhard Center Ballroom at Western Michigan University.

Executive Chef Nick Petruska and the catering staff will debut a variety of new higher-end menu items, all of which will be available for sampling.

Hors d'oeuvres available at the luncheon will include Chicken Fusion Sticks, Mini Cuban Sandwich Bites, Mango-Ginger Shrimp and Caribbean Dumplings. Lunch entrees include Loire Salad, New Age Salad, Barbeque Pork Chop, Mushroom Melange Ravioli, Bourbon and Autumn Fruit Filled Pork Roulade and Baked Stuffed Jumbo Green Bell Pepper. Desserts offered will be Dark Chocolate Cheesecake, Oreo Mousse Parfait, Raspberry Dream Cake and Fresh Fruit Parfait
