KALAMAZOO--Kalamazoo Film Society presents Philip Seymour Hoffman in his Academy Award-winning performance as Truman Capote Friday through Sunday, March 10-12, in the Little Theatre at Western Michigan University.

"Capote" received four other Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Supporting Actress for co-star Catherine Keener. The cast also includes past Oscar-winner Chris Cooper.

Hoffman and Keener also have won multiple film critics and film festival best acting awards for their performances in "Capote." Among others, Hoffman received a Golden Globe for Best Actor and the best acting awards of BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) and the Screen Actors Guild.
