Trustees consider fall tuition rates
July 28, 2005
KALAMAZOO--Tuition rates and on-campus housing costs for the 2005-06 academic year will be under discussion when the Western Michigan University Board of Trustees meets today.
The meeting, in Room 157 of the Bernhard Center, begins at 8 a.m. Once the meeting is called to order, the board will adjourn to a closed informal session before taking up its formal agenda in a public session expected to begin at about 9:30 a.m.
Chief among the topics at the meeting will be tuition and fees for the coming academic year. The board also will consider student room rates for the 2005-06 year. Those rates have remained unchanged since 2003.
In addition, the board will hear reports on gifts and grants as well as consider several real estate transactions.
