WMU HOME > ABOUT WMU > WMU NEWS Contemporary political theorist gives lectureApril 13, 2005 KALAMAZOO-- A political theorist specializing in modern and contemporary European thought will visit the Western Michigan University campus for two events Thursday, April 14. Dr. Fred R. Dallmayr, the University of Notre Dame's Packey J. Dee Professor in the departments of Political Science and Philosophy, will take part in an informal discussion titled "Political Theory in Troubled Times" from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 3301 of Friedmann Hall. Later that day, Dallmayr will present the 2004-05 Sam Clark Lecture, which is titled "Empire or Cosmopolis? Civilization at the Crossroads."
