Bluegrass at Kraftbrau benefits new HHS building

KALAMAZOO--Bluegrass music and a good cause will intertwine on Wednesday, Nov. 10, when the Department of Blindness and Low Vision Studies at Western Michigan University stages a fundraiser at Kraftbrau Brewery.

The event will feature Lare Williams and the New Direction Bluegrass Band. All proceeds will be donated to the new building fund for the College of Health and Human Services.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the band will play two sets starting at 7 p.m. The cost of attending is a $7 donation for adults and free for children under age 12. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. People will be able to buy hotdogs for $1 each and may enjoy a free dessert.
