WMU HOME > ABOUT WMU > WMU NEWS Sawako Nakayasu presents 'assorted in-between poetry' Oct. 9, 2004 KALAMAZOO--Author and poet Sawako Nakayasu presents "An Evening of Japanese, English, Japanese-American, and Other Assorted In-Between Poetry," Wednesday, Oct. 13, at 6 p.m. on the top floor of Sprau Tower at Western Michigan University. Nakayasu is the author of the book-length poem "So We Have Been Given Time Or," as well as the chapbooks "Balconic" and "Nothing Fictional But Accuracy or Arrangement." She is editor of "Factorial," a journal of literary collaborations and translations, and editor of the translation section for the online journal "HOW2."
