SIS information sessions continue

June 9, 2004

KALAMAZOO--Question-and-answer sessions on the new Student Information System at Western Michigan University are open to all WMU faculty and staff and will continue on Wednesday afternoons through the end of June.

Faculty and staff are invited to bring specific questions or general concerns about the SIS project to the informal sessions with members of the project team Wednesdays, June 16, 23 and 30, from 3 to 4 p.m. in Room 3030 of Schneider Hall.

Project team members are Viji Murali, vice president for information technology; Linda Delene, vice provost for academic planning and assessment; Susan O'Flaherty, executive director of student services; and Matt Tomczak, assistant director of administrative systems.

Sessions were originally scheduled for four consecutive Wednesdays beginning May 19. The positive response of faculty and staff to these opportunities to meet with SIS project team members prompted an extension of the meetings through the end of June.
