Hughley will take the stage at Western Michigan University's Miller Auditorium for a single performance Wednesday, April 7, at 9 p.m. "This is going to be a great show that everyone is sure to enjoy. Students are really looking forward to his performance and seeing one of the original Kings of Comedy!" said Beth Berry, Campus Activities Board comedy coordinator. "This year, CAB has worked hard in bringing well known comedians to campus, and D.L. was a very popular choice among our students. His comedy is hilarious and original." D.L. is one of the most popular and highly recognized stand-up comedians touring the country today. He has also found success in the areas of television and feature film. He spent four years as the star, co-creator and executive producer of his own sitcom "The Hughleys." D.L. has proven himself to be one of the hardest working comedians in showbiz. His appearance in the Spike Lee directed "The Original Kings of Comedy" launched him into comedic super stardom. Described by Steve Harvey as the "mad little opinionated uncle stirring up trouble at the grill at a family reunion," Hughley's work has garnered him several award nominations including the People's Choice Award, Cable ACE award, a Grammy and several NAACP Image Awards. WMU's Campus Activities Board is the sponsor of the student-organized
