Announcement tomorrow of major technology transfer

KALAMAZOO--Representatives of one of the world's corporate giants will be on the Western Michigan University campus Thursday, April 1, to announce a technology initiative that will bring patented technology to the campus for development.
Three of the firm's technology transfer officials from locations around the United States will be on hand for a 1 p.m. presentation to WMU President Judith I. Bailey, other University officials and representatives of the department and researchers who will be involved in developing and commercializing the technology. The technology is expected to impact a major industry sector with facilities in Michigan and throughout the Midwest.
