
WMU is host for Saturday's women's choral festival

KALAMAZOO--On Saturday, April 3, the Western Michigan University
School of Music hosts a women's choral festival featuring choirs
from four universities in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana.
The evening performance concluding the day-long festival will
feature each of the four choirs as well as a combined Festival
Choir. The concert begins at 7 p.m. in the Dalton Center Recital
Hall and it is open to the public free of charge.
The third annual American Choral Directors Association Michigan
Collegiate Women's Chorus Festival includes choirs from Bowling
Green State University, Saint Mary's College, Grand Valley State
University and WMU. Guest Sigrid Johnson, from St. Olaf College,
will offer clinic sessions for each choir throughout the day
and conduct the Festival Choir during the final concert.
