Wednesday recital features jazz pianist Fred Hersch

KALAMAZOO--Internationally acclaimed jazz pianist Fred Hersch will present a solo recital of original works plus jazz and Broadway standards at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, in the Dalton Center Recital Hall at Western Michigan University.
Hersch has made previous appearances in Kalamazoo as part of the Gilmore Keyboard Festival and Fontana Chamber Arts. He is serving as a visiting faculty-artist in the WMU School of Music.
Tickets for the recital are $15. Admission for students and senior citizens is $5. Tickets may be purchased at the door or through the Miller Auditorium Ticket Office at (269) 387-2300 or toll-free (800) 228-9858.
