New dinner theatre invites student auditions

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University students are invited to try out for a new dinner theatre production.
InterAct Entertainment will hold open casting auditions Jan. 18 and 20 for "About Face," a murder mystery comedy.
Auditions are 2 to 5 p.m. on Jan. 18 in the Portage YMCA A-Frame Building, 2900 W. Centre Ave., Portage. Auditions also will be held 6 to 9 p.m. on Jan. 20 in the Community Education Center, Room 123, 1010 W. Milham Road, Portage.
All roles are open with parts for four women and three men of all ages and types. Improvisation and dialect skills are a plus. Those interested should prepare a one-minute comic monologue, possible improv and/or cold readings from the script and should bring a recent head shot.
