Luncheons feature Bronco men's basketball

KALAMAZOO--Fans of Western Michigan University's men's basketball program will want to mark their calendars for three special luncheons in January and February.
Sponsored by the Fast Break Club, the Bronco men's basketball booster organization, the luncheons will feature remarks by members of the WMU men's basketball coaching staff and coaches from visiting teams. Luncheons begin at noon and are scheduled for Monday, Jan. 12, Wednesday, Jan. 28, and Wednesday, Feb. 18, in the new Seelye Athletic Center on Stadium Drive next to Waldo Stadium.
WMU head coach Steve Hawkins and Marshall University coach Ron Jirsa are the featured speakers Jan. 12. WMU plays host to Marshall at 7 p.m. that evening in University Arena.
The public is welcome at the Fast Break Club luncheons. Admission is $10 per person and may be paid at the door. Reservations are requested and may be made up to the day of the event by calling the athletic department at (269) 387-3120.
