BATTLE CREEK, Mich.--David H. Schrader, assistant chief flight
instructor in the Western Michigan University College of Aviation,
has earned a renewal for his designation as a Master Certified
Flight Instructor by the National Association of Flight Instructors.
Schrader is one of five WMU staff members who have earned
the coveted designation. Nationally, out of 81,000 certified
flight instructors, fewer than 400 have achieved the distinction.
Only 19 master-level instructors are living and working in Michigan.
WMU's internationally regarded College of Aviation is located
at the W.K. Kellogg Airport in Battle Creek.
