'A Choral Christmas' features classical holiday music

KALAMAZOO--Choral ensembles from the School of Music at Western Michigan University present two performances of "A Choral Christmas" Saturday, Dec. 13, at 5 and 8:30 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church, 321 W. South St., Kalamazoo. Tickets are $10 are are available at the door.
The University Chorale, Women's Chorus, and Collegiate Singers will perform works by Haydn, Handel, Poulenc, and Britten. The one-of-a-kind concert will feature a candlelight processional and mystical music of the holiday season. The choirs are conducted by Dr. Joe Miller and Dr. Dee Gauthier.
