Gold Company Sneak Preview Concert is Thursday

KALAMAZOO--Gold Company, Western Michigan University's internationally recognized vocal jazz ensemble, will present its annual Sneak Preview Concert beginning at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, in the Dalton Center Recital Hall.
Tickets for the Sneak Preview Concert, which also features a performance by sister ensemble GC II, are available through the Miller Auditorium Ticket Office at 269 387-2300 or 800 228-9858.
This year's Sneak Preview Concert will feature selections from two upcoming concerts: Jazz For The Holidays on Sunday, Dec. 7, and the 26th annual Gold Company Show, Feb 6 and 7, 2004. Both will be in Miller Auditorium.
The concert follows on the heels of the group's 25th anniversary season, which included a performance in Lincoln Center, New York City, and a three-week tour of South Africa. The Gold Company program was also awarded three "DB" awards from Down Beat magazine in June 2003. Gold Company is directed by Dr. Stephen Zegree, professor of music.
