
WMU's Khillah defeated at World University Games

KALAMAZOO -- Amir Khillah, Western Michigan University's taekwondo
coach lost his first round match at the World University Games
in Daegu, South Korea, this past week. In a close 2-1 fight,
Khillah was defeated by Orfeas Kouros of Greece in the 62-67
kilogram division.
The U.S. men and women's taekwondo team ended up winning six
medals in the sport's first appearance at the games.
