
Trustees meet Sept. 12 at innovation center

KALAMAZOO -- Acceptance of year-end gift and grant reports
and consideration of a recommendation to award an honorary degree
are among items on the agenda when the Western Michigan University
Board of Trustees meets at 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12.
The board's two standing committees--the Business and Finance
Committee and the Academic and Student Affairs Committee--will
meet before the full board convenes to take formal action on
agenda items.
The meetings will take place in the Multipurpose Room on the
first floor of the Southwest Michigan Innovation Center, 4717
Campus Drive, Kalamazoo. The center is located in the Business
Technology and Research Park on WMU's Parkview Campus near the
University's new engineering facilities, which are scheduled
to formally open at 2:30 p.m. the same day.
