
Broncos versus Spartans televised

KALAMAZOO -- Western Michigan University's football team travels
to East Lansing Saturday, Aug. 30, to take on Michigan State
University at Spartan Stadium. The game begins at 3:40 p.m. and
will be televised nationally on ESPN+ and in West Michigan on
WXMI FOX 17, Grand Rapids.
The game will also be available on WFAT 96.5 FM, Kalamazoo,
and other stations on the Bronco Radio Network and on WJIM AM
1240 and the rest of the Spartan Radio Network.
The Broncos and Spartans last met at the beginning of the
1997 season in Gary Darnell's first road contest as WMU's new
head coach. The Spartans took advantage of five first-half turnovers
by WMU to build a 42-0 halftime lead and won, 42-10.
