Faculty and staff get discount for volleyball camp

March 28, 2003

KALAMAZOO -- Western Michigan University Bronco volleyball program is sponsoring its annual summer volleyball camps in July and offering discounts to the daughters of WMU faculty and staff members.

The General Skills Camp and two clinics are open to girls ages 10 to 18. Participants are divided into groups by age and skill level. The program is directed by volleyball coach Cathy George and her staff, assisted by current and former volleyball Broncos.

The General Skills Camp begins at noon July 22 and runs through the afternoon of July 24. The regular commuter fee is $175, but the children of WMU faculty and staff can participate for $160.

A setter/hitter clinic will be held mornings, July 14-16. Faculty and staff receive a $10 discount on the regular fee of $90. During the afternoons of July 14-16, a ball control clinic will be held. Faculty and staff are also eligible for a $10 discount on the regular fee of $85 for that clinic.
