IEEE elects Mousavinezhad to lead West Michigan section

KALAMAZOO -- S. Hossein Mousavinezhad, chairperson of electrical and computer engineering at Western Michigan University, has been elected section chair of the Western Michigan Section of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
Mousavinezhad will serve a two-year term beginning this month with the section that is part of IEEE's Region 4 and covers the western half of Michigan. He also is the educational activities chair for the region. IEEE is a non-profit, technical professional association of more than 377,000 individual members in 150 countries.
