Symphonic Band concert set for Miller Auditorium

KALAMAZOO -- The 65-member University Symphonic Band from Western Michigan University's School of Music will perform in Miller Auditorium Sunday, Feb. 23, beginning at 3 p.m.
The performance is free and open to the public and will include works by Norman Dello Joio, Joseph Schwantner, Charles Ives, and James Henry Fillmore. The concert also will feature three movements from DeMeij's symphonic work, "Lord of the Rings."
