Actor, director Podemski here for Native American MonthNov. 6, 2002 KALAMAZOO -- Jennifer Podemski, a Canadian aboriginal actor, producer, director and entertainer, will be sharing some of her work as the final in a series of events taking place on the Western Michigan University campus in celebration of National Native American Heritage Month. Podemski's "Natives in the Media" lecture will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, in Room 2302 of Sangren Hall. She will share some of her work for the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network on behalf of her production company, Big Soul Productions. The event is free and open to the general public and is being sponsored by WMU's Native American Student Organization and Division of Multicultural Affairs, with additional support from the President's Multicultural Fund.
