
Gold Company previews 25th anniversary season

KALAMAZOO -- Gold Company, WMU's award winning vocal jazz
ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Stephen Zegree, will present
its annual Sneak Preview concert in Dalton Center Recital Hall
on Thursday, Nov. 7, at 8:15 p.m.
The Sneak Preview will feature new repertoire for the ensemble
including the premiere of original compositions as well as arrangements
of songs by Cole Porter; Earth, Wind and Fire; and Stevie Wonder.
Also featured on the program will be GC II, directed by Kelly
Ann Westgate.
Tickets for the Sneak Preview concert are available through
the Miller Auditorium Ticket Office at 269 387-2300 or toll free
800 228-9858. Tickets -- unless sold out -- also will be available
at the door the evening of the performance. General admission
is $10. Student and senior citizen admission is $5.
The 2002-03 season is the 25th anniversary for Gold Company
under Zegree's direction. The anniversary season will include
the 25th annual Gold Company Show Feb. 1, 2003, in Miller Auditorium,
as well as a performance in Alice Tully Hall in New York City
and a performance tour in South Africa.
