Residence halls opening for fall semester
Aug. 23, 2002
KALAMAZOO -- WMU's fall semester will officially begin Tuesday,
Sept. 3, with classes starting at 4 p.m., but new and returning
students will be on campus by the thousands before then, as they
flock to settle into the campus atmosphere and prepare for the
start of a new semester.
Residence halls open for all students beginning at 9 a.m.
Friday, Aug. 30. Most students will move into the residence halls
that Friday and Saturday, but some will not return to campus
until after the long Labor Day weekend.
Early move-in for WMU's residence halls begins on Sunday,
Aug. 25, exclusively for freshmen who have chosen to take part
in Bronco Days. Students who have registered for Bronco Days
may move into their residence halls Aug. 25 from 8 a.m. to 5
p.m. and Aug. 26 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
WMU's Bronco Buddies will be available to assist new and returning
students during the move-in period from Aug. 25 to Sept. 3.
