
WMU offices closed for Independence Day
July 1, 2002
KALAMAZOO -- Except for essential and emergency services,
Western Michigan University offices will be closed Thursday,
July 4, in observance of U.S. Independence Day. Offices will
open again on Friday, July 5, during normal business hours.
Listed below are Fourth of July weekend hours for selected
University offices and services. Faculty, students and the public
are encouraged to call to make sure that a particular office
on campus is open. For emergencies only, contact Public Safety
at 269 387-5555.
Admissions office is closed Thursday, July 4, and open
Friday, July 5, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sindecuse Health Center is closed Thursday, July 4,
open Friday, July 5, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closed throughout
the summer on Saturdays and Sundays. Call 387-3287 for hours
and information.
Computer labs are closed Thursday, July 4, and open
normal hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 5-7. Normal hours
for the Bernhard Center computer lab are 8 a.m. to midnight daily,
except holidays. Normal hours for the UCC computer lab are 8
a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, closed Sundays.
Waldo Library is closed Thursday, July 4. Open normal
hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 5-7. Call 387-5155 for
hours and information.
University Recreation Center is closed Thursday, July
4. Open normal hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 5-7. Call
387-7732 for hours and information.
West Hills Tennis Club is closed Thursday, July 4.
Open normal hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 5-7. Call
387-0410 for hours and information.
