
Alumni return June 8 for Reunion Weekend

KALAMAZOO -- Members of the Western Michigan University Class
of 1952 will gather in Kalamazoo Saturday, June 8, to celebrate
their 50th anniversary reunion. Joining them for a full day of
activities will be WMU's Golden Associates, alumni who graduated
50 or more years ago.
Saturday's activities will begin in the Bernhard Center with
registration at 8 a.m. and breakfast and a slide show at 9 a.m.
Breakfast will be followed by a campus bus tour and lunch in
Walwood Hall.
The weekend's official activities will conclude with a social
hour and dinner program in the Bernhard Center beginning at 5
p.m. The program will feature musical entertainment by WMU's
School of Music. Janette Dexter (Miller) Sherman of Alexandria,
Va., a medical doctor and member of the Class of 1952, will serve
as emcee.
The cost of Reunion Weekend is $30 for members of the Alumni
Association and $40 for nonmembers. Lower rates apply for those
who plan to skip either breakfast or dinner.
