May 15, 2002
KALAMAZOO -- Fall tuition, room and board rates, and vehicle

Gathering at 11:45 a.m. in the Connable Board Room of the
Bernhard Center, trustees also will consider recommendations
to approve six new degree programs as well as change the names
of two academic units. In addition, the board is expected to

approve tenure and promotion recommendations for a number of
faculty members.
The board also will hear reports on gifts and grants received
by the University during the months of March and April.
The meeting of the full board of trustees will be preceded
by meetings of the board's two standing committees in Room 204
of the Bernhard Center. The Budget and Finance Committee meeting
is slated for 10 a.m., while the Academic and Student Affairs
