
Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra comes to WMU

KALAMAZOO -- The renowned Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra appears
at WMU's Miller Auditorium for a single performance on Wednesday,
Jan. 23, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Ticket range from $40 to $15 and may be purchased by calling
the Miller Auditorium ticket office at 269 387-2300 or on the

The Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra performs and conducts educational
events around the globe with world- leading symphony orchestras,
ballet troupes, local students, and an ever- expanding roster
of guest artists. Under its Pulitzer Prize- winning music director,
Wynton Marsalis, the LCJO is composed of 15 of the finest jazz
soloists and ensemble players of today, featuring a vast musical
repertory that ranges from rare historic compositions to commissioned
works from "Jazz at Lincoln Center," the world's largest
non-profit arts organization dedicated to the art of jazz.
