
WFS presents innovative 'Waking Life'

KALAMAZOO -- The Western Film Society presents Richard Linklater's
innovative new film "Waking Life," Friday through Sunday,
Jan. 18-20. Little Theatre showtimes are Friday and Saturday,
Jan. 18-19, at 7 and 9:30 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 20, at 2:30 and
5 p.m.
"Waking Life" computer-animated film is about a
college- age man who wanders in and out of a series of philosophical
discussions and meets an interesting cast of characters along
the way. Critic Michael Wilmington of the Chicago Tribune calls
the film "Truly special, truly different -- a wondrous talky
roundelay about and for people who love life."

Admission is $5 or $3 for students. The Little Theatre is
located at the corner of Oakland Drive and Oliver St. on Western
