
Smokey Robinson comes to Miller Auditorium

KALAMAZOO -- Legendary singer-songwriter Smokey Robinson comes
to Miller Auditorium for a single performance beginning at 8
p.m. on Friday, Nov. 9.

Smokey Robinson has musically influenced four decades with
achievements including 36 Top 40 hits, a Grammy "Living
Legend" Award, berths in the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame
and the Songwriter's Hall of Fame, the Soul Train "Heritage
Award," a NARAS "Lifetime Achievement Award,"
and numerous other honors. This velvet-voiced crooner has always
been a major part of the soundtrack of our lives and continues
to be with his visionary new album, "Intimate," on
Motown Records.
A founding Motown executive, Robinson began his career fronting
the Miracles, as well as composing songs for other Motown acts,
such as The Temptation's "My Girl."
