Prayer and Remembrance at noon in Kanley Chapel

KALAMAZOO -- The Western Michigan University community is invited to gather at Kanley Chapel at noon today (Sept. 14) in observance of today's National Day of Prayer and Remembrance, proclaimed by President Bush yesterday.
Theresa A. Powell, vice president for student affairs, is expected to open the Kanley Chapel observance. She will be joined during the program by several religious leaders. Many of the religious leaders and other counselors present are expected to remain following the 30-minute service to meet with anyone seeking additional counsel or comfort.
