
President Floyd testifies in Lansing

KALAMAZOO -- WMU President Elson S. Floyd travels to the state
capitol in Lansing, Mich., today (Feb. 21) to make his case for
increased funding for the university to the House Appropriations
Committee's Subcommittee on Higher Education.
Floyd will join the presidents of the University of Michigan,
Eastern Michigan University and Michigan Technological University
in testifying before the subcommittee at 10:30 a.m. in Room 351
of the Capitol Building. The subcommittee is headed by Rep. Sandra
Caul.
