President to meet with Florida alumni in March

KALAMAZOO -- The WMU Alumni Association will host a series of receptions for graduates and friends of the university in Florida between March 3 and 7. The guest speaker at each of the four events will be WMU President Elson S. Floyd.

Tampa, March 3
A luncheon for area graduates and friends of the university will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at the Rusty Pelican, 2425 Rocky Point Drive. The cost is $16 per person.
Sarasota, March 5
A reception and dinner for area graduates and friends of the university will be held beginning at 6 p.m. Monday, March 5, at the Waterside Room, 216 Sarasota Quay. The cost is $30 per person.
Naples, March 6
An hors d'ouvres reception for area graduates and friends of the university will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, at the Naples home of alumni Richard and Priscilla Washburn. The cost is $25 per person.
Fort Lauderdale, March 7
A reception for area graduates and friends of the university will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott North, 6650 N. Andrews Ave.
