Women's soccer team falls to EMU in OTOct. 15, 2000 YPSLIANTI, Mich. -- WMU's women's soccer team fell in overtime at Eastern Michigan University on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 15). The Broncos were coming off a big overtime win at Central Michigan on Friday. With the weekend's win and loss, the Broncos are 8-6-1 overall and 5-3-1 in the Mid-American Conference. WMU is 1-2 in its past three matches, all of which have gone to overtime. Western Michigan received its lone goal at EMU from freshman defender Abi Morrell. She scored at the 51:50 mark. Eastern Michigan out-shot the Broncos 18-4. The Broncos fall to fourth in the MAC, two points behind Eastern Michigan, and five points behind league co-leaders Buffalo and Miami. WMU concludes its MAC regular season schedule next weekend with matches at Ohio University, Friday, Oct. 20, and at Marshall, Sunday, Oct. 22.
