New Homecoming Web site debuts

KALAMAZOO -- WMU alumni, students, faculty and friends will all enjoy the convenience of the new Homecoming 2000 Web site, which contains complete up-to-date information about events, hotel accommodations and more.
WMU Homecoming 2000 is Friday and Saturday, Oct. 20-21. The URL (Web address) for the new site is <www.wmich.edu/homecoming>. There are links to the Homecoming site from several places on the WMU Web, including the Alumni Association events page and the WMU News Calendar of Events.
The new site has information on events open to everyone, such as football, volleyball and hockey matches, the University Theatre production of "Into the Woods," the Campus Classic walk/run, and the "Motown Returns!" concert at Miller Auditorium. It also has information about special activities for specific groups, such as football and volleyball alumni reunions.
The site features this year's Distinguished Alumni Awards banquet, Friday, Oct. 20, and this year's recipients of the award, Ronald E. Hall, Marin Mazzie, and Samuel J. Simmons.
Links are provided to the Web sites for the Campus Classic, the Alumni Association, and other related sites.
