Sign offers sneak preview

KALAMAZOO -- A newly installed sign at the corner of Parkview Avenue and Drake Road gives passersby a peek at plans for WMU's new College of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the adjoining Business Research and Technology Park.
The billboard-sized sign was designed by Neil Simon, graphic designer in the Office of University Relations, using an illustration by Paul Sizer, production manager of the WMU Design Center. It was produced by SignWriter of Kalamazoo and installed July 13 on the 250-acre site that is now being prepared for the new facilities.
