Nearly 100 WMU students selected for Who's Who

KALAMAZOO -- Nearly 100 Western Michigan University students (listed below) have been named to the 2000 edition of "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges."
The "Who's Who" program honors outstanding campus leaders for their scholastic and community achievements. Criteria for selection include academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success. Recipients were chosen by a nominating committee of WMU faculty and staff members and by the editors of the annual directory.
Those selected join an elite group of students from more than 2,300 institutions of higher education in the United States and abroad. Outstanding students have been honored in the annual directory since it was first published in 1934.
The WMU students will have biographies of their accomplishments published in "Who's Who."

Regina M. Abrasia, Clinton Township, Mich. The daughter of Rowena and Renato Abrasia, she graduated in April with a bachelor's degree in music therapy.
Terrence Arthur Adams, Berrien Springs, Mich. The son of Rea Ann Adams, he is a senior majoring in community health education.
Reagan Frances Anthony, Ludington, Mich. The son of Mary Anthony-Acker, he is junior majoring in occupational therapy.
Robert William Aquilina, Livonia, Mich. The son of Charles Aquilina and Ronnie Jacek, he is senior majoring in food marketing.
Kendra Becker, Western Springs, Ill. The daughter of Jane and Alan Becker, she is a senior majoring in aviation.
