Setting a price for goods, services topic of July WBDC meeting

KALAMAZOO -- Tips on how to set the price of a product or service will be offered at the Thursday, July 1, meeting of Western Michigan University's Women's Business Development Center.

Geralyn Heystek, coordinator of internship services in WMU's Haworth Collge of Business and a former instructor in the Department of Marketing there, will talk about "The Basics of Pricing Your Product or Service" at 6:30 p.m. at the Kalamazoo YWCA, 353 E. Michigan.

Heystek will outline what an entrepreneur needs to consider when setting the price for products or services. Co-sponsored by the YWCA and the Haworth College of Business, the program is one in a series offered by the Women's Business Development Center and is free and open to the public.

The Women's Business Development Center was established by the Haworth College of Business to offer support to women business owners, potential owners and professionals through training, group and individual problem-solving consultation, current business information, and networking opportunities.
