KALAMAZOO--Members of the Western Michigan University Class of 1949 will gather in Kalamazoo Saturday, June 12, to celebrate their 50th anniversary reunion.

Activities will begin with registration at 8:30 a.m. in the Bernhard Center. A breakfast program will follow at 9 a.m., featuring Arnie and Deborah Johnston of Kalamazoo, followed by a bus tour of the campus. Arnie Johnston is chairperson of the WMU Department of English.

During the afternoon, class members will enjoy a trip down memory lane with Sharon Carlson, director of the WMU Archives and Regional History Collections. She will present a slide program called "Those Were the Days" at 4 p.m. in the Bernhard Center.
