Spring and summer 2015 alert

Significant summer highway construction in the Kalamazoo area, beginning March 30, means visitors to campus will want to take alternative routes to campus. The U.S. 131/Stadium Drive interchange is under construction, with some entrance and exit ramps closed, and Stadium Drive is down to one open lane in each direction. There is also a significant construction project at WMU that will result in an extended closure of Goldsworth Valley Drive., which is part of the Ring Road. Alternate routes are below.

You can also get turn-by-turn directions to or from any building using WMU campus maps with the familiar Google interface.

From north- or southbound U.S. 131

Visitors are encouraged to get off U.S. 131 at Exit 38 (Main Street, M43) and follow Main Street and East Stadium detour signs 1 mile to Drake Road. Turn right on Drake Road and drive 1.8 miles to Stadium Drive. Turn left on Stadium Drive. Select your campus destination from the locations below and follow the specific directions listed. Summer 2015 Orientation participants should follow the Valley Residence Halls directions below, watching for the bright yellow Orientation signs along the campus Ring Road detour.

From east- or westbound I94
