Sign up and help plan programs!
- Do volunteer work with children at The Boys and Girls Clubs of Kalamazoo.
- Work approximately 6-8 Saturdays each semester.
- Activities include:
Going to the zoo,
Visiting an apple orchard,
Planning parties and crafts at the club.
Credit for service learning may be available from some faculty.
To volunteer, you must come to the orientation meeting each semester (check calendar) and fill out a police report (required for the safety of the children) and application form. If you miss that meeting, you can stop by the office at 1160 Kanley and pick up the forms from the office door and return them to the office. You may then sign up to work on the sign up sheets that are posted on the bulletin board outside the office door. Come to the Tuesday meeting, to help with planning activities.
