Set in present-day Congo, Lynn Nottage's Pulitzer Prize-winning Ruined was hailed by the Chicago Tribune as "a remarkable theatrical accomplishment." This captivating story follows a woman's courageous and controversial journey to profit from and protect the women whose bodies have become battlegrounds in a devastating civil war.
Awoye Timpo will serve as guest director for this production. Ms. Timpo has worked at prestigious theaters in New York including the Public and Signature Theatres. She has also directed for New York University and for the Juilliard School.
Contains mature themes, sexual situations and strong language.
