A native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Patricia Daniels received her Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Pat has performed for numerous theatre companies across the nation, including Shakespeare and Company in Lenox, Mass., The Asolo Conservatory Theatre in Sarasota, Fla., Kentucky Repertory Theatre, Missouri Shakespeare Festival, Tibbets Opera House and Pennsylvania Centre Stage, as well as at the Wagon Wheel Theatre. Her favorite roles are Gertrude in Hamlet, Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Eliza Gant in Look Homeward, Angel, Amanda Wingfield in The Glass Menagerie, Aunt Eller in Oklahoma, M’lynn in Steel Magnolias, and Flo in Picnic. She has performed major roles in such shows as Love Letters, The Belle of Amherst, Our Town, Mother Courage and her Children, Othello, and The Cherry Orchard. This past summer she performed Miss Maude in To Kill A Mockingbird at the Wagon Wheel Theater.

Pat’s directing credits include such shows as Come Back to the Five and Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean, The Comedy of Errors, and Trojan Woman for Kalamazoo College. For Western Michigan University she directed Good Night Desdemona, Good Morning Juliet and Antigone . Pat also directed To Kill A Mockingbird, Romeo and Juliet, The Diary of Anne Frank, The Merry Wives of Windsor and The Stagedoor for the Kalamazoo Civic as well as Hamlet, The Tempest, and Twelfth Night for the Michigan Shakespeare Festival. She has also directed The Rainmaker for the Wagon Wheel Theatre. In 2006, Pat directed A Midsummer Night’s Dream, co-produced by the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra and the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre and she recently directed Twelfth Night for Hope College in Holland, Mi.

Pat has taught all levels of acting for Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo College. Her audio credits for the Brilliance Corporation include Nora Roberts’ Jewels of the Sun, Tears of the Moon and Heart of the Sea.
