About Name

Hey. My name’s Tony and I’m a freshman here at WMU. I’m from Kingsford, MI, a small town in the U.P. I’m a Yooper! I graduated from Kingsford High School in 2009. In high school I participated in basketball, football, baseball, and student council. I was a member of the national Honor Society and even had my own TV show.

I started looking into Western during my junior year. I had a friend that went here and he said it was awesome. I also read about how WMU has a great business school. When I came on a tour here, it just felt right.

I love Western! It’s an awesome school and campus. There is so much to do. I’m involved in intramural sports. I currently live in the residence halls and have met some great people because of it. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with friends and going to sporting events. GO BRONCOS!
