Background
Take a deep breath. I know it's stressful and overwhelming at times but you'll make it through. Have fun, college is an amazing time!
Hello! My name is Rebecca and this is my second year here at Western. I graduated in 2009 from Howell High School in Howell, MI. I love it here at Western and I'm excited for the years to come!
I decided to attend Western because they have a phenomenal occupational therapy program and that's always what I've been interested in. I was very attracted to the size of campus and how pretty it was as well. I'm a huge sports fan and going to a school with NCAA D-1 sports was huge for me. Western has great opportunities to attend many sporting events and they're free for all students! I especially love going to the hockey games. All-in-all, it's a nice balance between a big school atmosphere with small school attention.
My freshman year I lived in the valleys in Britton Hall. It was so much fun living on campus and meeting so many new people. I now live off-campus and love it as well. In my free time, I love to watch sports. From October to April or May you can always find me watching or reading about the Detroit Red Wings. I love being with my friends and doing anything active outside. I'm currently the president of SOTA, the student occupational therapy association. I'm also involved with different campus ministries and am interested in our Alternative Spring Break. Registered student organizations are a wonderful way to get involved and meet others on campus who are interested in the same things!
