BackgroundThe one person who made my transfer possible was my advisor at the nursing
college. I researched her number and e-mail address and she helped me step
by step to make my transfer easier. Do research and ask for help! Western is
GREAT at helping students!
I am a 2005 Northville High School graduate. I have lived in Northville for pretty much my whole life. My mom, dad and two dogs (Buddy & Jackson) live at home and my brother and I live in Kalamazoo during the school year. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I am currently in the Bronson School of Nursing.
When it came time to apply to colleges, I didn’t want to because this meant change and I didn’t want to leave high school. However, I knew if I had to, I wanted to go to a big school and so I applied to a large Michigan university. I got in right away and since that is where I wanted to go, my search stopped there. I toured after I was accepted and spent the next three years there until I was ready for a change and transferred to Western.
My college life revolves around my classes, clinical, homework, studying,
and spending time with friends. However, school takes up a lot of my time
and energy
as I have a pretty demanding schedule with Nursing – but I love it! In
my free time I like to relax, spend time with my roommates and friends, and
try to get home to see my family.
