Jamee's Advice for Freshman

The only advice I have for prospective students is to GO TO CLASS! Also get involved in groups and activities going on to meet tons of new people!!

About Jamee

I’m junior here at Western, and ready to get my life started! I love playing volleyball and watching The Hills Monday nights!!! I love going to the Student Recreation Center., going to the mall on the weekends, and tanning! I also love to go to all the games! I live on main campus, and I absolutely love being with all the people in my hall and all the people around campus!! I love being a student at Western and a student ambassador here too! If there is anything else you want to know just e-mail me!!! GO BRONCOS!!

I’ve loved Western since I was in middle school, and wanted to come here all that time. I guess I’m kind of different then most incoming freshman. I didn’t look at any other college, because when my sister started here in 2002 and I came and visited, I just knew Western was the right place for me! I love the campus and how everything is laid out! The people here are so relaxed and laid back; I just felt it was the right environment for me.

I decided to go into Interdisplinary Health Studies because I want to earn my Healthcare Administration certificate. With that certificate I really want to work for Bronson Medical hospital as a part of the administration. Basically I want to work in the healthcare field without dealing with the illnesses and such!

I live on main campus and try to keep as busy as possible! I obviously am a Student Ambassador, and am looking into joining a lot more organizations. I’m constantly at the computer lab or the library studying and checking my facebook! My hall is great; there are so many activities going on every week. All the people in my hall are so fun and interesting! I love how you can meet tons of different people from all across the country!
